Essential Duties:

• Read and analyze bid plans, specifications, drawings, and other documents.
• Request bid information from owners, architects, and engineers.
• Collect material and equipment quotes from vendors.
• Inspect work sites and conditions affecting labor productivity prior to bids.
• Create bid proposal

• Knowledge of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/mechanical plans and specifications

• Experience with, Microsoft Office software, Adobe software, AutoCAD, and the ability to learn mechanical estimating software products such as Quick Pen.

This position requires a H.S. diploma or GED, but a trade or technical school degree is preferred.  In addition, this position requires 1-3 years estimating experience and/or 1-3 years commercial mechanical construction experience. EEO.
