A Hybrid system is a gas or propane furnace coupled together with a Heat Pump instead of the usual Air Conditioner. Typically our Hybrid systems only burn gas or propane when it is colder than 30 degrees outside. 60% of the heating season is above 30 degrees and the heat pump will deliver more than twice the heat btu's into the home than the typical gas or propane furnace for the same dollar of cost to operate it.
