McElroy’s is the only MEP contractor in Shawnee County with in-house design capabilities and licensed by the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions. Our design/build staff consists of licensed engineers, layout and AutoCAD Building System design services. We’ve been designing and installing MEP systems since the start of our company in 1951. Our value engineering approach to design focuses on minimizing the combination of capital expenditure, energy usage and maintenance costs over the lifetime of the building.

Many of our commercial customers outsource their engineering design needs to us. Doing so can save money and time on your mechanical, electrical and plumbing design projects. We adhere to SMACNA and ASHRAE standards. And, of course, we adhere to our own principles of delivering a superior product.
