Ramada Inn of Topeka

Heating Plant Replacement

The Ramada Inn of Topeka sought to reduce its energy consumption by updating the building’s domestic water and heating systems. McElroy’s was contracted to handle the entire project, from design to completion.

After removing antiquated central heating equipment, the building was outfitted with new domestic water and heating central plants. The heating plants consist of five, 3000 MBH high-efficiency condensing boilers, redundant pumps, redundant heat exchangers, and domestic water storage tanks. Automated Solidyne Control Systems were also installed for optimum energy performance. These leading-edge systems, combined with the latest energy efficiency technology, have resulted in a smoother operation and lower energy costs.
