Construction: Schallenkamp Residence Hall

Emporia, KS 90,850 SQ FT

Completed: May 01, 2019

For its newest residence hall, Emporia State University called on the innovative expertise of McElroy’s to create optimum comfort at minimized cost. The 90,850 square-foot facility must reliably meet the daily heating, air and water needs of more than 320 students.

McElroy’s installed high-efficiency, fully automated VRF systems and a dedicated outdoor-air system for improved indoor air quality and thermal comfort. We also installed all of the plumbing, glycol piping, domestic water and waste systems – with exacting craftsmanship.
