GovernmentTopeka Veterans Affairs | AHU Remodel

VA Oncology AHU Remodel

Topeka, KS 9,382 SQ FT

Completed: November 01, 2019

When the Topeka VA wanted to replace the oncology air handling unit (AHU) and update plumbing and fixtures, they called on McElroy’s to quickly and expertly handle all the details.

McElroy’s took care of demolition and removal of old plumbing and sheet metal, and then set about installation of the new systems. We cut the roof deck for new exhaust fans, hoisted the new AHU and fans into position and hooked everything up with ducting.

We did replacement and additional plumbing with new fixtures, and provided insulation for domestic water, chill water, steam and ductwork. McElroy’s tested and balanced the new AHU system and did a complete startup and checkout.

Government entities can have confidence that the project managers and skilled craftsmen at McElroy’s will get their projects done right, on time and on budget.
